Supporting our Mission
The Partners HealthCare Center for Personalized Genetic Medicine
(PCPGM) is helping to write the next chapter in the history of medicine.
Through its distinguishing features - extraordinary intellectual assets,
up-to-date infrastructure and wide programmatic scope - the potential and promise
of personalized medicine will be advanced.
For those who suffer from cancer, heart disease, neurological
diseases and many other illnesses, PCPGM helps to build new capabilities for finely
tuned diagnoses and more effective, targeted therapies with fewer adverse reactions. At
the same time, PCPGM helps to further the understanding of the origin and progression of
diseases and in developing new means of prevention for these diseases. And PCPGM offers an
array of educational programs that help to prepare the coming generations of medical
geneticists as well as providing ongoing training for practicing physicians and other
healthcare providers.
The challenge ahead is daunting. Philanthropic contributions will help
PCPGM realize the full potential of its work. We invite you to explore how you can help
and encourage you to contact us.
